Common space with fourteen wineries and a wine tasting led by sommelier David Seijas

The Denomination of Origin Costers del Segre consolidates its position at the Barcelona Wine Week with a common space of more than 150 square meters, featuring the participation of fourteen wineries from the region and a guided tasting of monovarietal wines made from Macabeu and Garnacha grapes. Tomàs Cusiné, president of the DO Costers del Segre, expresses his satisfaction with “the participation of wineries from Lleida in this sector-leading fair, as nearly twenty Costers del Segre brands will be present at the event, either jointly, with independent spaces, or represented by their distributors.”

From Monday, February 3 to Wednesday, February 5, the wineries Carviresa, Castell d’Encús, Castell del Remei, Celler de Sanui, Cérvoles, Clos Pons, Costers del Sió, L’Olivera, Mas Blanch i Jové, Mas d’en Roy, Mas Ramoneda, Solana Roivert, Terrer de Pallars, and Tomàs Cusiné will share the venue at a fair that has once again sold out its exhibition space in record time.

Additionally, the Princep Hall at Fira de Barcelona will host a wine tasting of DO Costers del Segre wines on Wednesday, February 5 at 12:00 pm. The activity, titled "Discovering the Territory of DO Costers del Segre through two of its main indigenous varieties, Macabeu and Garnacha," will be led by renowned sommelier David Seijas.

Barcelona Wine Week, Spain’s leading quality wine fair, is preparing for its largest edition in history, which will gather more than 1,200 wineries from across Spain from February 3 to 5 at the Montjuïc venue of Fira de Barcelona. The event, which will be held for the first time in two pavilions, will expand by 30% in exhibition space to meet the high demand for participation, expecting to attract more than 24,000 visitors. The event includes an extensive program of talks and tastings addressing the main trends in the sector.
